Committee on Adolescence and Sports Medicine

The Committee on Adolescence monitors available science and data regarding the broad range of adolescent health and sports medicine issues, and formulates related recommendations for TPS Board consideration. Recent Committee on Adolescence work has included promoting healthy adolescent life choices, enhancing health professional education about adolescent medicine and sports medicine, and addressing adolescent risk behaviors, sexuality and sexual activity, pregnancy, substance abuse, sport safety and mental health screening.
